Fortis Secure Support
Structured support for people facing long-term challenges around money management
What is Fortis Secure Support?
Fortis Secure Support is a structured programme for people who face ongoing challenges managing certain types of spending. This includes individuals with health conditions, severe mental impairment (SMI), addiction, or gambling-related difficulties.
The programme provides targeted help including supermarket vouchers, energy top-ups, and benefit advice. All services share a common eligibility framework and are accessed through our approved referral partners.
When individuals register for Fortis Secure Support, we can use the support criteria provided to apply for further grant funding. This helps us unlock additional resources based on documented financial vulnerabilities or complex needs.
What We Offer
- FoodGuard: Weekly supermarket vouchers to help clients maintain consistent access to food.
- Energy Top-Ups: Fuel vouchers for those who can’t afford to top up, helping people manage essential energy costs.
- Benefit Advice: Basic checks and guidance to help clients understand their entitlements and how to access support.
Eligibility
Clients must meet at least one of the following:
- A mental or physical health condition affecting money management
- A diagnosis of severe mental impairment (SMI)
- Ongoing addiction or gambling-related issues
- Referred as unable to manage certain spending independently
- Considered financially vulnerable due to complex needs
